Participatory budgeting community survey this week

 

Hi CSG friends,

As you may recall, Central Seattle Greenways signed on in support of the Solidarity Budget, and one of its successes was the inclusion of participatory budgeting in next year's City budget. Next year, at least $30 million will be allocated through a community-led process.   (If you've participated in Your Voice Your Choice, you've taken part in one form -- albeit pretty limited -- of participatory budgeting.)

To help make the participatory budgeting process meaningful and successful, the Black Brilliance Research Project is asking community members who are interested in helping to shape the process to take this survey <http://bit.ly/tellusaboutpb>  by December 11:  <http://bit.ly/tellusaboutpb> http://bit.ly/tellusaboutpb 


This community needs assessment survey is open to anyone who lives, works, goes to school, worships, receives services, volunteers, or participates in activities in Seattle. It will be used to recruit people for follow-up conversations to refine Seattle's 2021 Participatory Budgeting Process.
