Subject: Sign up Now for Art Beyond Sight on Feb 26

In February, we're celebrating the 100th anniversary of the start of Mingei, a Japanese folk art movement that elevated every day, functional design to the status of art objects to behold! We'll discuss the beauty in objects that may, at first, be seemingly mundane in SAM's recent exhibition Exceptionally Ordinary<https://www.seattleartmuseum.org/Exhibitions/Details?EventId=65480>. Recordings and touch objects will complement verbal description on this tour.

Art Beyond Sight Tours are for visitors with low or no vision and their guests. Tours begin with light refreshments at 1 pm in Arnold Board Room, on the second floor of the museum. Space for Art Beyond Sight Tours is limited and advanced registration is required. There are three different ways to register:

  1. Call SAM Customer Service Center at 206.654.3210
