Way.

These routes previously traveled via Pioneer Square and SODO surface
streets.

Bus stops on northbound 1st Av S just north of S King St and on the
southbound 2nd Av Ext S just south of S Washington St are no longer served
by West Seattle and Burien buses. 

These revisions have been made for several reasons, including riders'
requests for a smoother and more reliable pathway to and from their West
Seattle, Burien and downtown Seattle destinations.

New pathway and stops
To West Seattle or Burien 
Heading southbound, Metro routes 21 Express, 37, 55, 56, 57, 113, 120, 121,
122, 123 and the RapidRide C Line operate via Third Avenue to Columbia St,
then travel via Columbia St, Alaskan Way and SR 99 to continue to their West
Seattle or Burien destinations. 

Riders may board at posted stops on southbound Third Avenue or at the new
stop on westbound Columbia St just east of Alaskan Way.

To downtown Seattle 
Heading north into downtown Seattle, these buses - except for Route 37 - and
including Route 125, operate via SR 99, Alaskan Way and Columbia St, then
continue via northbound Third Avenue and their designated stops. 

They all serve a new stop on eastbound Columbia St just west of Western Av. 

The RapidRide C Line and Route 125 also serve a new stop, northbound on
Third Avenue just south of Marion St.

The rest of the affected routes serve the next posted bus stop northbound on
3rd Av just south of Madison St. 

Route 37 continues to operate its regular SODO routing when headed into
downtown Seattle.

Route 125 loop 
The Route 125 "loop" routing through downtown Seattle is revised to use
Alaskan Way and Columbia St, then operate northbound on 3rd Av and
southbound on 2nd Av, serving stops on 2nd Av just south of Pike St and just
north of Marion St, before also serving the new stop westbound on Columbia
St just east of Alaskan Way.

Route 125 is signed 'To Westwood Village' during its entire trip through
downtown Seattle.

It no longer serves stops on northbound 1st Av or southbound 3rd Av.  

Route 125 serves the new stops on Columbia St.
