> Vote Centers. I am incredibly pleased to share that we have official Vote Center locations. As you may remember, prior to COVID-19 we’d been working with our fantastic city partners to run Vote Centers at City Halls. However, with the pandemic we had to change gears, as many of the rooms were simply too small. All the locations below provide us with ample space to keep our staff and voters safe and I’m very grateful to these awesome partners for stepping-up.
>
> Bellevue College
> Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center
> Kenmore City Hall
> Accesso ShoWare Center in Kent
> CenturyLink Field Event Center in Seattle
> University of Washington Dempsey Indoor Center in Seattle
(The Dempsey Indoor Center is located behind the UW light rail station and Husky Stadium.)

> These sites will all be open Saturday, October 31 from 10am – 4pm, Monday, November 2 from 8:30am - 6:00pm, and Tuesday, November 3 from 8:30am – 8:00pm. Of course, we’ll also be open at our headquarters in Renton for in-person voting as soon as ballots are mailed. More details are online.

> United States Postal Service. Not too many updates here but I did want to share that we are seeing very normal delivery times for the portion of the 25,000 military, overseas and out-of-state ballots we’ve sent to date that we get detailed delivery data on. We will continue to meet regularly with our post office representatives and hopefully will continue to see no issues.

> Voter Registration and Updates. We have seen enormous numbers of voters getting registered and updating their information. We saw 10,000 on September 22, National Voter Registration Day alone. This is great (it’s what we’ve been asking them to do!) but it has meant we’ve had a little bit longer of a lag in processing these registrations and updates than we typically do. The good news is we now have all our data entry temporary staff on-board and the team is catching-up quickly. If you do get any inquiries, there are two really important things to know - (1) we always do whatever it takes to get caught-up by the time ballots are mailed, and (2) if a voter is at all concerned, the best thing for them to do is give us a call at (206) 296-VOTE so we can figure out what’s going on with their specific issue.
