Here are the November meeting minutes. We can vote on them at the upcoming
meeting.
Thanks very much to Lucas Atkinson for filling in and taking these notes.

NFB SEATTLE CHAPTER MINUTES
20NOV21 1005-1114
IN Attendance: Jim P, Kris C., Keri B., Marci C., Noel N., Amandeep K., Al
E., Ben P., Anatoly, Lucas A.
Jim reviewed notes from last month (16OCT21) and voted to approve them.
There was no treasury report as the treasurer moved away recently and the
temporary treasurer was not available.
Marci- thanked everyone for attending convention and congratulated newly
elected persons. Discussed Washing Seminar (Date:7-10JAN22) will have
in-person component probably be able to take 2 people will still have
virtual attendance as well. 5-10JUL22 in-person National Convention to be
help in New Orleans.
Al- Discussed legal issues with Uber against Dog Guide users and requested
any in firsthand issues related to that. Also, legal suits against Uber for
their 2-minute late fee as persons with a disability may need more time to
get the Uber. As well as legal suit against Airlines that charge more
because a person as a service animal. Brought up the necessity of listening
to the Presidential Release during Chapter Meetings and discussed
possibility of partnering with NWABA for some events.
Jim- Received Feedback on the convention: Most people enjoyed the speaker,
one person did not like break out sessions, several people liked "why I'm a
Federationist" and the Job Seekers, everyone liked Amandeep's story of
becoming a US Citizen. Discussed dates and locations for December Holiday
Party and future in-person chapter meetings starting in Jan. Requested
members think about topics for philosophy discussions moving forward.
Amandeep- discussed the Student Division and Al discussed the Sr Division
invited anyone to attend their Saturday meet ups. Kris discussed Members at
Large chapter and their fund raiser they are putting on (Raffle for 2
handmade quilts.) $5 per entry into the drawing. Can go to NFB.ORG Members
at large quilt or send in money order PO Box 2516, Seattle, WA
Possible Resolution to be brought up dealing with the Citizenship process
and changing the lack of accommodations provided for persons with
disabilities.
Holiday Party: 11DEC21/time: 1-5pm Location: Razzi's Pizza. Deja and
Amandeep will plan for activities.
