Greetings,

We want everyone to be able to vote in this year’s election and we know that not everyone can get to a Vote center during weekday hours and not everyone has the ability to fill out a ballot at home.

There will be an opportunity for early voting using Accessible Voting Units (AVU’s) on Saturday, October 19, from noon to 4 PM at the Seattle Public Library.’s Central Library at 1000 4th Avenue in downtown Seattle.

The National Federation of the Blind of Washington worked with King County Elections and the Library Equal Access Program (LEAP) to provide an opportunity for accessible, early voting on a weekend. There will be four AVU’s available for blind and low vision voters and others who cannot fill out a print ballot at home. They will be located in a cordoned off area on the first floor of the library behind the auditorium. King County Elections staff will be there to assist voters. Voter registration will also be available. In Washington you can register in person on the same day that you vote in person. Volunteers will also be on hand to direct people to the voting area.

You can also register to vote online at https://olvr.votewa.gov/olvr2024/landing.aspx. There you can also sign up to track your ballot to make sure it is counted and to receive an alert if there’s a problem with your signature.

If you have any questions you may contact me by voice, text or email using the contact information below.
