> Greetings accessibility community,
>
> This message is for 1 Line passengers.
>
> Beginning Monday, from April 14–23, Sound Transit will replace a rail section south of the International District/Chinatown Station. This work will require a service reduction throughout the alignment. The damaged rail limits operations to 10 miles per hour, causing ongoing service delays.
>
> During this time, the 1 Line will operate in three segments. Trains will operate approximately every 12 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and Westlake and from Stadium to Angle Lake stations. Passengers must transfer trains at Westlake and Stadium stations to continue to downtown Seattle stations, where trains will run about every 25-30 minutes. Also, all trains will use one platform from Westlake to Stadium stations <>.
>
> Passengers should plan for significant increases in travel time and consider alternate forms of transportation, especially local bus service for those traveling to a location between Westlake and Stadium stations. Bus routes that provide connections between Westlake and Stadium stations are listed on the 1 Line service disruption web page <https://www.soundtransit.org/ride-with-us/1-line-service-disruption>. A visual chart on the Navigating service disruptions web page <https://www.soundtransit.org/ride-with-us/changes-affect-my-ride/navigating-service-disruptions#1line> shows other service options for every station along the 1 Line.
>
> In addition to scheduled service, King County Metro will be providing a "downtown circulator" bus on weekdays during the evening commute to help reduce crowding, as described later in this email message.
