Good afternoon accessibility community,

 

This message is for 1 Line passengers who use Symphony and Pioneer Square
stations, each of which requires a temporary entrance closure for repairs.
These closures will not impact elevator access.

 

Beginning 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, until 5 a.m. the following morning, we
will close Symphony Station
<https://www.soundtransit.org/ride-with-us/stops-stations/symphony-station>
entrance A1 to repair the coil gate. This is the entrance located under the
Cobb Building parking garage at the northeast corner of University St and
3rd Ave.

 

>From 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, we will close Pioneer Square
Station

tion>  escalator entrance A to repair a plywood wall. This is the entrance
closest to Cherry St on 3rd Ave. 

During these times time, passengers will need to use another station
entrance. 

 

If you need help in a Sound Transit station, please call or text Security at
(206) 398-5268. For trip planning assistance, please call Passenger Care at
1-888-889-6368 (Mon-Fri, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.).

 

Thank you for your patience as we work to complete these essential repairs
as quickly as possible.
