Good evening accessibility community,
This message is for 1 Line and Sounder passengers:
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, passengers should expect significantly heavier
ridership than usual, with tens of thousands of Seahawks fans coming to
Seattle to celebrate the Super Bowl victory. Visit the
*soundtransit.org/seahawksparade
<http://www.soundtransit.org/seahawksparade>* the Sound Transit website for
more information.
Planned events include a parade that begins at 11 a.m. from 4th Ave S & S
Washington St. The parade will travel along 4th Ave through downtown
Seattle and end at Seattle Center. Following the parade, many fans will
board 1 Line and Sounder trains.
Sounder will be altering train schedules around the event. ST Express
routes that serve downtown Seattle will be rerouted from start of service
until the parade ends. Visit the Seahawks victory parade *event page on the
Sound Transit website
<https://www.soundtransit.org/get-to-know-us/news-events/calendar/seahawks-victory-parade-2026-02-11>*
and
the *Service alerts web page
<https://www.soundtransit.org/ride-with-us/service-alerts>* for current
information on service changes and disruptions and sign up to receive
alerts by text or email.
Before and after the celebrations, 1 Line trains will be crowded. Parking
at Link and Sounder stations will fill up earlier than usual. If you
typically park and ride into Seattle, plan to arrive early. Alternatively,
consider carpooling or taking a bus to the train station, or all the way
into town.
Sound Transit’s online trip planner and the *Sound RideGuide
<https://soundrideguide.com/>* can help you plan regional transit travel.
Please call Passenger Care at 1-888-889-6368 (Mon.–Fri., 8 a.m.–6 p.m.) for
trip planning assistance.
Passengers needing assistance navigating a crowded station can request help
from Sound Transit personnel on the platform or by calling or texting
Security at (206) 398-5268.
Thank you for riding Sound Transit, and for packing your patience that day
for this community celebration.
Best regards,

Beth Hamby (she/her)
