Greetings accessibility community,

 

This message is for all passengers using the 1 Line, the 2 Line, or ST
Express bus service. 

 

On Sunday, September 6, Seattle will host the Apple Cup at Husky Stadium by
University of Washington Station. The Apple Cup game will start at 1 p.m.,
the same time as the Mariners’ game at the T-Mobile Stadium in downtown
Seattle. The PAX West expo will also be held at the Convention Center that
day starting at 10 a.m., and there’s a Reign soccer game at Lumen Field
starting at 6 p.m.

 

Due to all these concurrent events, the system will experience severe
crowding from 10 a.m. until around 6 p.m. Passengers should anticipate
significant increases in travel times and crowds. Also, passengers planning
to take the 1 Line

-routes.pdf>  should plan to use alternate transit options. Please call
Passenger Care at 1-888-889-6368 (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.) for trip
planning assistance when determining alternate routes.

 

Please note that KCM Husky shuttles are no longer available. ST Express
routes 586 from Tacoma to University District and 550 from Bellevue to
Seattle are also discontinued. 

 

The paratransit stop at Husky Stadium will not be relocated for the event,
so please anticipate crowded pathways around the stadium if you plan to take
paratransit to the game.
