They're trying to gather a list of places around the state where crossing state roads, or roads that used to be state roads, is a barrier to community members. <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>For example, in my neighborhood Rainier Avenue used to be a state highway and is now a city road that is super difficult and scary to cross because of high-speed traffic and infrequent stop lights. <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>I know I've heard from some of you about roads like this in your communities -- the 101 in Sequim, the 395 on Chewelah.
