   I want to wish all of our members, friends and supporters a happy holiday season and a Happy New Year. I am grateful for all that you do to help improve the lives of blind people. I am proud that we are an affiliate whose members care about and support each other. I am committed to maintaining that culture and to building membership in our chapters, divisions and groups.

   We have many newer members in the NFB of Washington. Let’s help them learn more about our positive philosophy of blindness and about our state and national programs. Let’s get all of our members signed up for our email list serves and the  Braille Monitor.

   I’m excited about the Washington Seminar, our state convention (registration coming soon!), the STEM2U event we will hold in Seattle the spring, our national convention, our Washington/Oregon BELL Academy, successful fundraising and outreach efforts and some great Blind Month activities.
