National Federation of the Blind of Washington Greater Seattle
Chapter Meeting

First of all, my complete, solemn and sincere apologies for even
attempting to send out the announcement of this month's NFBW
Seattle chapter meeting this late. I have had some incredible
events going on during the holidays, working through some family
issues, and being very busy for my first week at work back in
Seattle.

A Facebook event has been sent out about a week ago, which is my
understanding that it reminds people that tomorrow we will have
elections in our chapter. For those not on any social media
platform, read below. It is advisable that if people want to
participate in elections tomorrow, and have their NFB membership
right to vote, to bring some cold hard earned cash. Five bucks is
the membership dues for 2025.

Below are the details and happenings for our chapter meeting this
weekend.

Start the new year off with a fun and thought-provoking chapter
gathering! We will have elections of all Chapter officers,
demonstration of a tactile sports viewing device from OneCourt,
national Presidential Release, state convention updates and a
philosophy discussion. Learn how you can support our national
legislative efforts from home. Reminder that the first 30 minutes
are a time to chat and order food. Dues of five dollars per year
must be paid before elections in order to vote or run for office.
Would you like to learn more about the NFB at the national or
state level? What topics would you like to have presentations or
discussions on at future chapter meetings? Share your thoughts and
questions next Saturday.

Thank you for your dedication to our organization, and let's go
build the National Federation of the Blind in 2025!
