Supreme Court upheld the injunction against USPS</a> implementing their new election mail rules for this election. It is an understatement to say this decision is a huge relief to both election administrators and voters, and provides critical clarity right
as voters are getting to vote. </p>

<p class="yiv7178591194MsoNormal">Even with this relief, our work continues to look very much the same. We are going to continue to encourage all voters to return their ballot early, and to
<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" href="https://cd.kingcounty.gov/en/dept/elections/how-to-vote/ballots/return-my-ballot/ballot-drop-boxes">
use a drop box</a> if they\u2019re able. If voters want or need to return by mail, we are going to continue to recommend that they vote and return their ballot as soon as they receive it. We\u2019re going to continue encouraging voters to

sign up for ballot alerts</a> so they can know when their ballot has been mailed to them, and where it is at every step along the way. And we\u2019re going to continue to be here to help them, no matter what.
