Dear Jamie;
thanks for keeping me informed of upcoming events. I would still like to
speak with your members about increasing cases of exploitation of elderly
and vulnerable adults but would like to come in late spring or summer when
the days are longer as I have to drive from Santa Rosa.
Could you send me a list of your meeting dates for May, June and July so I
could figure out what would work.
Could you also tell me of any attorneys or legal professionals in your group
who might be able to answer questions about special concerns when dealing
with the visually impaired? I'm a health care professional and know there
are standards of care of practice govening our professions. I've not been
able to find any attorney able to state how one deals with the blind or
visually impaired. How do your members not able to read braille, insure
they're not being taken advantage of when documents are drafted.
Would appreciate any thoughts you have, and will be eager to share my
experiences with members very soon.
Thanks,
Deborah Proctor, BSN, DVM
