Everyone, here are some important convention odds and ends.


There will be a pizza party for NFB of California members on Monday July 10
at 5pm It will be in NFBC Second Vice-President Robert Stigile’s room. The
room number will be announced later. I will post the info on this mailing
list and in the WhatsApp group.


As stated before the California Caucus is Wednesday July 12th at 5:30 pm in
Suwannee 18 Level 2.


There are two shuttle options offering discounts for round trips between
Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the Rosen Single Creek. The
discounts are on the shared ride vans.


Mears Motor Shuttle offers $4.00 off the $33.00 round trip rice with a
coupon to Rosen Shingle Creek and other Zone 3 hotels.

If you are in one of the overflow hotels, you’ll want to call Mears Motor
and Super Shuttle to get rates.


Uber also runs from the airport to the Shingle Creek.  It looks like fares
can run from $23-$30 one way. If surge pricing is in effect, that may drive
the fare higher. Uber Pool is not an option so the only way to save money
is to bring people with you to share a ride and split the fare.
