*January Event Reminder:*

Are you curious about social relationships, dating, and understanding your
own body? This month’s event will cover the anxieties you may have related
to dating and relationships, health, boundaries, and consent. Boundaries
and consent are important for our lives not just in relationships but in
our everyday lives.

Health educator, Laura Millar, will be presenting this important topic
specifically from a disability perspective. Laura, who is blind herself,
has been educating people and students with disabilities on relationship
and personal health for over 4 years.

Parents, this conversation is vital for students as they transition into
adulthood, understanding and accepting oneself is vital to self-confidence
and a positive self-image. The focus will be on different types of
relationships and what consent is. It will be a conversation crafted to the
students personal interests and discussions. Additionally this topic will
be addressed from a disability perspective with professionalism and
sensitivity to age and understanding.

Come join us for this very important conversation, lunch will be provided.
