Hi, Amy: I just wanted you to know that the E. Bay Center for the Blind is sponsoring a Transit justice project, we are in the second year of the project, which is being funded by the San Francisco foundation. We are trying to form a coalition of people with disabilities throughout the Bay Area and seniors, so that we can come up with ideas and solutions. I think one of the problems that we’re facing here is that we’re not all working together. To that end I would very much like to contact you and talk to you about possibly working with you. I know you were working only in San Francisco at this time, but it’s really important to include the entire bay area, because there is a move as you are probably aware to put a transportation Mega measure on this year‘s ballad that would call for the establishment of a world-class regional transportation system. The bay area is considered to be the most fragmented and with regard to transportation systems in the United States. We have 27 separate agencies, and people with disabilities and seniors have many issues regarding transportation that are not being sold by the MTC, SFMTA, or any other agency. We need to come together and find ways to call for serious, radical reform in transportation. It’s far as Uber and Lyft, I think we need to have subsidized Uber and Lyft as an alternative to pair a Transit. I’ve got a run. Sorry for the mistakes in this informal dictated note. I hope we can hook up. Best regards.
