Here are the corrected minutes.  As far as the identities I will bring it up to the board at the next meeting.  Enjoy.

Secretary report
•	October Meeting Minutes were sent out to the list serve
•	Motion was made by Cindy and all approved of secretary report

Treasurer Report
As a total we currently have $1,274.07
Motion was made by Sheri A. and all approved of Treasurer report

Presidential Release Recap
November 16, 2020 is the 80th anniversary of NFB 
Tenbroekk Library located in Baltimore is a great resource for NFB literature to discuss with our chapters
•	2021 Washington Seminar will be virtual this year and starts February 8-11
•	National level has not decided on a legislative agenda for the Washington Seminar and will be determined based on the incoming Congress 
•	All members are encouraged to go to the NFB website and fill out the voting survey
•	Applications for Tomorrow Organizing Program starts in January
•	December 12-15 will be a conference for pathways to discover new and improvised programs for transitional youth and can still accept proposals until November 15
•	   Starting November 1st, students can submit applications for the NFB 2021 National Scholarship
•	There is a Braille leaders competition happening from December 1st-January 18th to see who can read the most Braille, if interested contact the American Action Fund for more details
•	NFB met our October goal for Freedom Scientific to match a donation of$50,000 
•	Next month will be the 500th Presidential release and our President will have guest speakers

Lisa’s Legislative Announcements
The Michigan   Western University decided on a resolution to hold the state level more accountable to assist Blind students, and There was a resolution to restore a assistive technology position  
•	Western Michigan University wrote a position policy to write accommodations
•	On October 14th there was a letter published by Terri Ruff in a local Nevada newspaper regarding the state affiliate requesting a partnership to make online materials accessible including employment, healthcare, and education for students
•	In Minnesota there was a class action lawsuit to have a right to vote and won
•	Michigan now has a president initiative to make voting accessible with voting materials
•	As a reminder Lisa sent out a job posting for any disabled person to work for the Biden administration
•	If you have any questions or want more any future resources with advocacy please reach out

Chapter Announcements
•	There is a holiday party and we will discuss this later

Diversity and Inclusion Discussion
The committee met for the first time and have decided to set this time to focus on different things to get a better direction
Starting in January we will have more events to learn about diversity and inclusion including NFB philosophy
•	Today there is an activity to identify demystify stereotypes
•	The definition of an identity is   who you are
•	The exercise is to say I am something but I am not this to shake up stereotypes 

Discussion
•	Holiday party will be happening at our next meeting
•	The D and I committee thought of the party where different people can present different customs, songs, traditions, recipes 
•	Bobbi will send out an email to the list serve asking for ideas
•	Everyone had a great time at our state convention
•	Rookie roundup was a favorite of everyone
•	More q and a session are being requested, but loved the different kinds of sessions
•	Washington Seminar will be virtual and this allows you to learn about legislative issues 
•	Stay tuned for more details 

Bell Ringers
•	Lisa got 100 on her eye physio test
•	Christina got promoted to manager of publications
•	Serena is now managing adult programs instead of just coordinating them  
  

Lisa made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Amy seconded, and all approved
