Hello SF NFBC Fam and Friends, 

 

I'm posting some resources and info that I'll be sharing at tomorrow night's
chapter meeting. 

 

The attached PDF from the SF Center for Independent Living can be read with
JAWS. The application is intended to assist individuals who require the use
of assistive technology and medical equipment sustained by power.  

 

The second attachment is information copied and enlarged from the National
Federation of the Blind website concerning voting information for you or
your Voter of Registrar's Office. 

 

 

The National Federation of the Blind of California will award three college
scholarships to three full-time blind/visually impaired students attending
college/university in California. The deadline to apply is October 10th. For

Finally, please share with newly blind individuals, college students
studying rehabilitation, social work or other helping professions and
