I was only able to receive my first vaccine because I was given a phone number not widely publicized you’re in Marin County. I made attempts to use the my turn website. Aspects of the website were not accessible. I attempted to book my appointment through the my an 800 number. Because I had been on the website I was very aware that that all of the questions were being read accurately. Happy to help.

All,

Our legal program is investigating the accessibility of websites involving
Covid-19 testing and vaccine appointments. I am specifically looking for
blind NFB members who have a need to obtain Covid-19 testing in the greater
San Francisco Bay Area or will likely have a need in the coming year. I am
also specifically looking for blind members who want to book vaccine
appointments within the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Please email
telder at trelegal.com <mailto:telder at trelegal.com> privately or call
415.873.9199 if this applies to you.

In addition, if you have encountered specific problems with a Covid-19
testing or vaccine website anywhere in California, please share those
experiences as well with the above email or phone number and complete the
following survey.

We want to make sure we are investigating the most relevant issues. Thanks
in advance for your advocacy.

Did you know that blind Californians are holding monthly meetings in your
region over Zoom and telephone? Check out our virtual local chapter and
division meetings. All are welcome to attend.
