[NFBSF] Annual SSA report overview on employment outcomes for VR clients nationally

Hi All, 

 

Attached is an annual report from the Social Security Administration about
national employment outcomes for VR clients. My take, it's pretty subjective
and appears to be lacking in accountability on the part of the VR agencies
that receive reimbursement from SSA for VR clients that meet the Substantial
Gainful  Achievement (SGA). I also noticed that a limited scope of
vocational rehabilitation (VR) services was included. I would like to see
greater accountability from vocational rehabilitation agencies nationwide. I
would also like to see included in future surveys access to braille literacy
skills training, orientation and mobility skills acquisition and independent
living skills training.
