Hello Chapter Members,

I wanted to share a recent experience I had with the Museums 4 All program,
which provides free or reduced admission to thousands of museums and
cultural institutions for individuals receiving SNAP or Medicaid benefits.
This program is an excellent way to make museums and other interactive
experiences more accessible to the Blind and Disabled communities.

Recently, another Disabled mom and I took our kiddos to the Exploratorium
in San Francisco. Thanks to the Museums for All program, we were able to
get in for just $6. The museum even provided free passes for our teenagers
since they were accompanying us as Disabled folks. So, technically, we only
paid $6 to spend the afternoon at this amazing museum.

The person who gave us the tickets told us more about the program and asked
us to share it with our communities to help spread the word. It's a
fantastic way to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial
situation, can enjoy these enriching experiences and it is the way for
these institutions to give back to the community.

In addition to the Exploratorium, here are some other museums in Northern
California that participate in the Museums for All program:

   - Monterey Bay Aquarium – A world-renowned aquarium that offers a deep
dive into the marine life of the Pacific Ocean.
   - California Academy of Sciences (San Francisco) – A natural history
museum featuring an aquarium, planetarium, and rainforest dome.
   - Bay Area Discovery Museum (Sausalito) – A children's museum focused on
   creativity and learning through play.

If you're interested in learning more or finding other participating
museums, you can visit the Museums for All website at www.museums4all.org
<https://museums4all.org/>. It was so exciting to check out all of the
possibilities, and I definitely see some more group outings in our future!

Best regards,
