If sneaking in the shadows, dodging goblins, and rubbing elbows with whatever goes bump in the night on All Hallows’ Eve is not your idea of a good time, then lurk no further. During the light of day, LightHouse’s eleventh floor will transform into FrightHouse and host a number of activities to celebrate, advocate and even engage in a bit of friendly competition.
Enter the craft room if you dare to construct an eyeball accoutrement or fashion a shield against those “scary” assumptions people make about blindness. Trick-or-treat through several stops to learn some interesting–and sweet–factoids plus enjoy other savory eats. Relax with friends and enjoy an audio described family friendly “scary” movie. And engage in everyone’s favorite witching hour playing bingo. Finally, come dressed to impress in your favorite Halloween costume or attire and compete to win prizes.
