Secretary’ Report- Bobbi 
                                                              i.      The minutes were amended to add Steven to the list of attendees and then approved.
Treasurer’s Report- Sara
                                                              i.      Our current balance is $1,246.60
                                                            ii.      This includes !100 of donations towards our chapter’s auction basket at state convention
Presidential Release Recap 
                                                              i.      Rooms for National Convention in the main hotel are currently sold out. However, rooms in the overflow hotel are available
It was mentioned from people who have stayed in the overflow hotel previously that it is right across the street from the main hotel, quitter, and less crowded.
                                                            ii.      The president urges  us to make our chapters a safe space for blind federal workers that may currently be experiencing turmoil. He also rinds us that we are not a partisan organization. However, we are always on the side of blind people.  
 
Legislative & Advocacy Report
                                                              i.      It was shared that CA employee could be returning to work in person 4 days of the week. While City of Oakland employees will return 5 days a week.
 
Chapter Business 
State Convention 
                                                              i.      There is still time to register for convention in person and virtually
                                                            ii.      Concerns were expressed about links for virtual convention not working at state convention previously. A few tips for navigating this issues were shared.
                                                          iii.      Chapter Caucus
                                                           iv.      Information about how our chapter caucus will work was shared. Members will be e-mailed the resolutions and board nominees via the NFB Listserve and asked for their opinion in.
                                                            v.      A reminder that you can to donate towards our chapter’s auction basket, if desired, via any method that you used to pay dues.

Outreach and Education Committee
                                                              i.      Bobbi appointed Lisa and Laura as co-chairs of the Outreach & Education Committee. If you are interested in joining this committee, please reach out to one of those three.
                                                            ii.      Saturday April 12 at 1pm. There will be a picnic at the  Botanical Gardens in San Francisco. Please stay tuned for more details.
                                                          iii.      The annual Vision Walk will happen at Golden Gate Park in SF on Saturday May 31st and we will have a table for outreach. If you are interested in volunteering at this table. Please let us know. 
                                                           iv.      Out social gathering for June may take place at Delores Park in SF. Details TBD.
                                                            v.      The Outreach & Education Committee will meet the 3rd  Tuesday of the month at6:30pm using the same Zoom link as our meeting. The first meeting will be April 15th.Anyone is welcome to join.
