[NFBSF] Instructions to picnic at Dolores Park

*It’s too late to order a sandwich, but it’s not too late to join us!  Here
are the instructions for how to find us tomorrow for our NFBSF June Social,
and PRIDE picnic at 12 PM!*

*Getting to Dolores Park: We Are Gathering About 300 Feet In from the
Southwest Corner at 20th and Church*

We’ll be gathering about *300 feet into Dolores Park* from the *southwest
corner*, where *20th Street and Church Street*meet. You’ll enter at the *top
corner of the park* and follow a *paved path heading north along the west
side of the park*.

At the entrance, you’ll encounter a *cluster of picnic tables*—keep those
tables on your *right-hand side* as you begin. The *path will level out*,
and you will be walking *north, downhill, with the grass on your right*.
After about 300 feet, we’ll be just off the path on the right, under a *cluster
of trees*.

*Park Boundaries for Orientation*

   -

   *North*: 18th Street
   -

   *South*: 20th Street
   -

   *East*: Dolores Street
   -

   *West*: Church Street

The *J Church Muni line* runs along the *west side* of the park, on Church
Street.
The *18th Street stop* is at the *northwest corner*.
The *20th Street stop*, and our entrance, is at the *southwest corner*.

*Transit and Drop-Off Options*

*Accessible Muni Route – 18th Street Stop (with curb cut):*

   1.

   Take the *J Church outbound* Muni train.
   2.

   Get off at the *18th Street stop*, at the *northwest corner* of Dolores
   Park.
   3.

   *Cross Church Street* to the park side.
   4.

   Walk *south along Church Street*, keeping the park on your left, until
   you reach *20th Street*.
   5.

   Turn left to enter the park at the *southwest corner*, and follow the
   walking path described below.

*Standard Muni Route – 20th Street Stop (no curb cut):*

   1.

   Take the *J Church outbound* Muni train.
   2.

   Get off at the *20th Street stop*, along Church Street.
   3.

   *Cross Church Street* to enter the park at the *southwest corner*.
   Note: This corner has *no curb cut* and includes a *steep drop from the
   sidewalk*.
   4.

   Once inside, follow the walking path described below.

*Uber or Rideshare Drop-Off:*

   1.

   Ask to be dropped off at *20th and Church*, the *southwest corner* of
   Dolores Park.
   2.

   Cross Church Street to enter the park.
   3.

   Once inside, follow the walking path described below.

   Enter the park at the *southwest corner at 20th and Church*.

   them on your *right-hand side*.
