Dear community members,

The National Federation of the Blind San Francisco chapter is excited to
partner with the Disability Cultural Center for our March community social.
We invite you to join us for a special Superfest Disability Film Festival
showcase and an afternoon of connection and time together.

Superfest is one of the longest running disability film festivals in the
world, featuring films created by and about disabled people. These short
films offer powerful, creative, and often deeply relatable stories.

All films will include audio description. Audio description is a narration
that describes what is happening on screen, including actions, expressions,
and scene changes, so blind and low vision viewers can fully follow and
share in the experience.

We will also take time to learn about the Disability Cultural Center and
their offerings, and spend time connecting with each other in a relaxed and
welcoming space.

You do not need to be a member of the National Federation of the Blind to
attend. We warmly welcome anyone from the blind and low vision community,
along with family, friends, and allies.
