[NFBSF] Petition Signing Party Update

Hey, all,

I'mtrying to get/keep folks in the loop. At first, I sent to a small 
handful of individuals, but this train is getting moving, so I've got to 
widen the net! This is good...and exhausting. :)

This is what I sent to be published in the CCB Courier:

public transit in the SF Bay Area?
Petitions to put "Connect Bay Area," a regional measure, on the 2026 
ballot are being gathered.
You must be registered to vote in:
* Alameda
* Contra Costa
* San Francisco
* San Mateo or
* Santa Clara county to sign one. Petition signing parties will occur 
near you *soon!*

I'll explain the measure and answer questions. There won't be any 
petition takers in *this* meeting, but we will have at least two 
meetings in which petition collecters will be present at the East Bay 
Center for the Blind. One will be on a Friday morning starting at 9:00 
or 10:00 AM, and one on a Friday afternoon, probably at 1:00. Deets TBD.

Warren Cushman and I will also be reaching out to other folks with 
disabilities to see if any want to be signature takers. There might be 
ability for folks who are blind, or have low vision to work in tandum 
with sighted partners, including folks with disabilities.  If you know 
any, have them reach out to Warren. His info, again, is:

If you want to be involved in this project, give me or Warren a holler. 
Signature takers are popping up everywhere, so, if you know folks in 
other counties that are listed above, give them a holler, and let's keep 
the disasterous cuts from happening! We need as many folks in each of 
the five counties as we can get to sign a petition!
