Here is another way one can serve the community… I encourage everyone to look for a board and commission that covers a topic that interests you and apply. As some of you might know, I currently serve as the chair of the Alexandria Commission for Persons with Disabilities, so I’ve been through the process, and can provide some background on that. Wanda Taylor also serves on the ACPD, and I’m sure she would be happy to provide support and insights as well.
