The Greater Alexandria Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Virginia met on Thursday, May 2, 2019. At the meeting the following officers and board members were elected by unanimous consent:

  

Evelyn Valdez, president;

Jeremy Grandstaff, vice president;

Susan d’Mello, treasurer;

Renee Valdez, secretary;

Wanda Taylor, board member; and

Franklyn Riley, board member. 

  

Congratulations to the new officers and board members! All positions were effective immediately following the conclusion of the meeting. 

  

On a personal note, it has been a pleasure and an honor to serve as your inaugural president for the past two years of this dynamic chapter. Please join me in lending your support and encouragement to our new board.
