From Evelyn.Valdez at va.gov Tue Sep 3 19:17:36 2019 From: Evelyn.Valdez at va.gov (Valdez, Evelyn) Date: Tue, 3 Sep 2019 19:17:36 +0000 Subject: [NFBV-Alexandria] National Harbor Visit Message-ID: Renee, Would you please be able to disseminate this announcement to our chapter members? I will be at the National Harbor this Saturday, September 7th and I strongly hope we can meet there?please let me know if you may have any questions about taking the Water Taxi and if it?s your first time doing so but there will be a group leaving at 12:05pm from the Alexandria Waterfront. Hello All, We have had to make some changes to our plans regarding the Saturday September 7 visit to the National Harbor. Yes, the visit is still taking place. Yes, we plan to have lunch together. Yes, we plan to explore the area after lunch. Some of us will take the water taxi from Old Town Alexandria to National Harbor. It runs every half hour from the dock behind the Torpedo Factory Art Gallery. A group of us plan to take the 12:05 PM boat. We should plan to meet at the water taxi dock at National Harbor between 12:30 and 1:00 PM. What has changed you may ask? We will find a restaurant or different groups may find different restaurants for lunch. The advantage of this is you are able to select your cuisine and pay independently. Frankly, there appeared not to be sufficient interest to use Roses Mexicana?s private room as we suggested earlier. These water taxis depart from 0 Cameron St, Alexandria, VA. I?m looking for a furnished, private bedroom in a shared space within walking distance to the red or blue metro lines. I am not limited to living in DC. My absolute max budget is $1100/mo with utilities included in that amount. I?m a recent American University grad, really easy-going and respectful, like going out as much as I like staying in and hanging out with friends, and will be working in DuPont Circle for the next 4 months. Please let me know! I can be reached at the following email: mohashy96 at gmail.com Thanks in advance. Mohamad hashash -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
