Hello Fred and Don,

I am in the New Mexico affiliate and traveling to D.C. to 
conduct research at the  Smithsonian museum of natural 
History to finish my Ph.D. dissertation.  I'm wondering if 
either of you can recommend lodging that's less pricy than 
the Holiday Inn Capitol?  I'll be looking for access to 
the metro.  Alternatively, can you recommend a member for 
me to stay with-I'll provide money for food etc. Thanks
