At Large Chapter Notes
April 29, 2010
The 2nd monthly meeting of the At Large Chapter of Virginia was another
booming success! Discussion thrived as we joined three other At Large
Chapters, those from South Carolina, Delaware, and New Jersey!
Parnell Diggs explained the significance of the NFB Imagination fund, and
encouraged callers to join and begin to "Make the Ask!"
Callers were encouraged to sign up to receive the monthly NFB Braille
Monitor. To do so, E-mail Mrs. Dyre at the National Center (MDyre at nfb.org
or call her at 410-659-9314 EXT. 2204). Information is power!
The NFB National Convention will be held July 3rd through July 8th in Dallas
TX!
A number of federationist shared what brought them into the federation and
why they stayed.
The next At Large Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of
Virginia will be held the fourth Thursday in May at 8pm. Stay tuned for
conference call telephone number information.
