Hello All,
It was pointed out to me that leaving a comment at
www.blog.VirginiaQuietCars.org is nearly impossible if you cannot see the
screen. I deeply apologize for this. The host of the website has changed how
comments are added to the website. I will work with them to make the website
accessible to all.
In the mean time, we can still use your comments on this very important
issue. Please send all comments to info at VirginiaQuietCars.org while the
website is being fixed.
Again, I apologize for any inconvenience these extra steps cause you,
John Bailey

Subject: [Nfbv-announce] VirginiaQuietCars.org update
Hi All,
If you do a Google search today for "Virginia quiet car legislation",
www.VirginiaQuietCars.org is the first listing on the very first page. This
is good
for several reasons.
The very best reason for being listed first is that when the media and
those
looking for stories about how the legislation affects the blind community
in
our state, they will be able to find us. On www.VirginiaQuietCars.org , are
listed several state-wide regional contacts who have volunteered to make
themselves
available to assist the media when crafting stories for television and
radio.
What keeps the site visible is changing content that is relevant to the
quiet car discussion. So, please assist us to tell our part of the story by
contributing
your thoughts to the website's blog.
The blog can be found at www.blog.VirginiaQuietCars.org. When the
legislation making independent travel by the blind safer passes. the media
will want to
find us right away for their stories. Let's help them do that.
If you would like to be a contact to the media for your region, please
contact John Bailey at info at VirginiaQuietCars.org and let him know.
