Greetings all,

I am greatly looking forward to seeing all of you at this year's national
convention in Dallas. As you know, we hold a Virginia Caucus early in the
convention to go over information about banquet exchange, fundraising and
other matters. This year we will meet on Sunday evening, July 4 from 10:00
to 11:00 p.m. The caucus will be held in the Senators Lecture Hall located
in the Tower Lobby.

Let's make this year's convention the very best ever.

      The National Federation of the Blind of Virginia will be selling
raffle tickets at the Convention for a cruise to the Bahamas on the Carnival
Cruise Lines.  The winner will join other Federationists on a weeklong
pleasure-packed cruise through the Bahamas with stops in Nassau, Freeport,
and Port Canaveral, FL aboard Carnival's Pride. Each raffle ticket will cost
$10 and the winner will receive a standard cabin for two.  



        Raffle tickets will be available for sale at the Virginia table in
the exhibit hall and at the Virginia delegation or you may call Tracy
Soforenko on his cell phone at 703-635-2085. 



        The Cruise departs from Baltimore, MD on August 21, 2011 and returns
August 28, 2011.  This is a fundraiser for the National Federation of the
Blind of Virginia and if you don't win the raffle we would urge you to book
a cabin so you don't miss out on the fun.  Prices are approximate until
space is held in the beginning of September and range from $875 for inside
cabins to $1,575 for junior suites.  Prices are per person based on double
occupancy.  Remember these prices include taxes, fees and gratuities!
Optional insurance and shore excursions will be available. A payment plan
