On Wednesday, August 8, 2012, (10:00am - 2:00pm) the U.S. Department of
Labor will host a hiring fair for veterans and persons with disabilities.
There are over 57 vacancies that need to be filled at the U.S. Department of
Labor.  

 

The positions cited on the website below are open to all candidates, with a
special emphasis on hiring veterans. Please make every effort to share this
information with other veterans. Your assistance is appreciated as it is
important that we get this information in the hands of veterans who are
looking for a job.

In order to attract a highly qualified candidate pool a website with
detailed information has been established at www.dol.gov/dol/hiringfair .
The website lists a short duty description of the positions. Additionally,
an online registration site has been set up for candidates to register to
simplify the registration process. The event flyer will be advertised on the
several websites to include www.dol.gov , www.dol.gov/hiringvets,
www.dol.gov/odep/events  and www.dol.gov/vets as well as DOL's networks in
the community and other federal agencies.  The event flyer also contains the
list of the positions with links to the OPM qualification standards for
those series and grades.
