[Nfbv-announce] Only two weeks left to request financial assistance to attend the NFB convention in Orlando!

Good afternoon, fellow Virginians!

The deadline to apply for the McDonald Fellowship Program is less than two weeks away (Monday, April 15th).

This program is set up to enable any legally-blind, parent of a blind child, or teachers of the blind who resides in Virginia to attend the annual convention of the National Federation of the Blind in Orlando, Florida held July 1-6, 2013.

Remember that the criteria have changed this year. Even if you were awarded a Fellowship in the past, you are eligible to apply again! This is to increase participation from blind Virginians at the convention and to streamline the process for requesting financial assistance from the affiliate.
