Announcing the NFBV Communications Committee

 

The newly formed NFBV Communications Committee will be the information
resource for assisting those wishing to grow the organization by effectively
communicating the mission and activities of the NFBV.

 

We work with chapter and affiliate leaders who wish to grow the NFBV
organization. We do this by creating opportunities to promote our
organization to current members, potential members, and others who can
assist the NFBV mission.

 

A chapter that communicates poorly will not thrive. Some of the desired
outcomes of the committee's work with chapters in improving communications
will be:

.         Increase membership

.         Build future leaders

.         Create local media partnerships 

.         Increase access to funding

.         Discover beneficial collaborative partnerships

.         Brand ourselves as the experts on blind empowerment

 

This is a brand new committee of the NFBV and we invite those wanting to
assist in the growth of the affiliate to become an active member of the
committee. You will have the opportunity to work with experts in Facebook,
Twitter, LinkedIn, website design, public speaking, event planning,
newsletter production and much more.
