If you are expecting a child or planning to have children in the future.if
you are planning to adopt a baby or a toddler.if you want to babysit or be a
nanny for little ones.or if you just love being around babies, you might be
wondering how your blindness will influence your ability to care for a baby.
you might be feeling overwhelmed or afraid at the prospect of taking care of
a child. You may have thought about taking one of those infant care classes
at your local hospital, but you are concerned about how the instructor and
sighted classmates might handle your blindness. Besides, you might feel
like you would not even learn anything useful, since they will be teaching
with visual aids and few hands-on activities. How frustrating and
embarrassing!

Well, this is the seminar for you! As a blind mother, I know first-hand
what you are experiencing right now. This seminar offers you an opportunity
to gain one-on-one, hands-on, non-visual instruction in prenatal, newborn,
infant, and toddler care. It will include informational sessions about each
overall stage of development and tips for non-visual care related to that
stage. Each informational session will be followed by sessions with
hands-on activities during which you will be able to practice the
corresponding non-visual childcare skills. Come join me for this exciting,
empowering, enlightening experience!
