[Nfbv-announce] Volunteers needed for convention Shuttle Bus Marshalling during evenings

Hi Virginia Federationists,

 

Due to a late surge in convention bookings at the Rosen properties, there is
now a need for a shuttle bus between the Rosen Center and the Rosen Plaza
for Tuesday - Sunday, July 1 - 6. There will be only 1 bus  running in a
continuous loop between the two properties.

 

Michael Kasey and I will coordinate the shuttle bus but we really need your
assistance. UPS volunteers will be working as marshals and talking signs
each day until 7:30 PM. From Tuesday (7/1) through Saturday (7/5) we will
need volunteers  to serve as talking signs starting at 7:30 PM and ending at
9:00 PM. 

 

On Sunday, we will need volunteers to help from about 10 minutes before the
end of the banquet for 60 - 90 minutes.

 

We anticipate putting 2 people at each of the properties.  Last year,
everyone who worked a shift enjoyed the experience.

 

Please email me if you are available to assist. It will really help if you
can tell me which evenings work for you.
