>From Nancy Yeager:
Are you, or do you know, a Senior (age 55 or older) thinking about life
after employment?
Are you, or do you know, a Senior experiencing vision loss?
Come join other Seniors during our NFBV Convention lunch break, Saturday,
November 8. After collecting your box lunch, take the elevator to the 9th
floor and into the Hampton University Board Room.
National Representative, Gary Wunder, will join us and share his thoughts on
Seniors within the NFB and the NFB Senior Division. We will then hear a
presentation on Services available to older Blind Virginians through the
Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired. Cathy Schroeder will then
demonstrate the Script Talk Talking Prescription Labeling System. We will
end the meeting at 1:45 PM in order to return timely to the afternoon
general session.
During the meeting, we will provide attendees with an assortment of
hand-outs of interest to Seniors. While an RSVP to the Seniors Luncheon is
not required your response will help ensure that we have sufficient
materials on-hand.
