I regret to inform you of the passing of Lenny Valko, the father of Kim
Valko, of the Fredericksburg Chapter.  Please keep the Valko family in your
prayers.

Leonard Joseph Valko Jr., 47, of Spotsylvania County passed away Saturday,
July 18, 2015, at Stafford Hospital.

Mr. Valko was a lover of all things historical and taught A.P. History and
Cambridge program at Potomac High School. He was a member of the Knights of
Columbus and St. Mary Catholic Church, and was an avid Steelers fan. He
loved animals, especially his dog Cyrus.

He is survived by his loving family, his wife and best friend of 10 years,
Kelly Valko; his beloved children, Kimberly, Kira, Raymond, Gabriella,
Jaeden and Cassia; his father, Leonard J. Valko Sr., and stepmother, Arlene;
sister Kimberly Valko; stepbrother Kevin Newman; and stepsister Heather
Talley.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Valko.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at
Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A Mass of celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at St.
Mary Catholic Church.
