[Nfbv-announce] Saturday 10/31 Highlight #1: An Outstanding Banquet

             Fellow Virginia Federationists:

At the end of this message, there are details on registration and hotel
reservations.

 

On Saturday, we have an outstanding set of programs. The highlight of the
convention will be the banquet.

Banquet Highlights:

.         Banquet Address - Our national representative, John Fritz,
President of the NFB of Wisconsin and a Member of the NFB Board of
Directors, will engage us with his inspiring life story and the
transformative effects our positive philosophy  has had on his life.

.         New Song - We will learn a new Federation song featured in the new
Rhythm of the Movement  CD.

.         Scholarships - We will hear from each of our scholarship winners.

.         A Fine Meal - While most conventions have a nice banquet, we have
high expectations for the fine banquet at the Westin Tyson's Corner.

.         Action auction -  Some of the best items from our fast paced
auction will be saved for the banquet.

.         Drawing - At the end of the banquet, we will draw for the $2,500
Cash prize from our raffle. 

 

You will not want to miss the banquet.

 

The 2015 NFB of Virginia convention, is Scheduled for October 30,- November
1.  

Below, you will find details on convention registration and hotel
reservations.

 

A) convention Registration

 

Convention registration is now available via phone, web, or paper form. Act
by October 16 to get the best prices and be entered into a $100 raffle.

Tickets: $32.00 .Saturday Lunch Tickets: $17.00

 

.Starting on October 17,the prices are: .Registration: $25.00 (Makes you
eligible for door prizes and the convention hotel rates) .Banquet Tickets:

$37.00

 

.Each session of Kids Camp Program (child care): $5.00 (The cost is per
family not per child).

Friday Afternoon, 12:15 pm to 5:15 pm .Session 3: Friday Evening, 6:00 pm to

pm to 1 hour after banquet adjournment

B) Hotel Reservations

To make hotel reservations, call central reservations at (888) 627-8970 and
use code NSJ29A or the hotel directly at (703) 893-1340. Special room rates
have been negotiated for registered convention attendee's. When you call the
hotel, make sure to tell them that you are attending the convention so that
you will receive the special convention rate. The deadline to make hotel
reservations is Friday, October 16, 2015. After the deadline, there is no
guarantee that you will get a room at the convention hotel.
