[Nfbv-announce] Early Reminder: Next Fairfax Chapter meeting May 19 with guest Tracy Soforenko

Hello Fairfax Chapter Members and Friends,





May 19th meeting:

The NFBV invests in its members. One of the leaders of this philosophy is NFBV First Vice President Tracy Soforenko. He is one of the engines behind making sure every blind person in the state has the opportunities to live full and productive lives.



It is my pleasure to welcome Tracy to our Thursday, May 19, 2016 meeting to tell us about the many leadership programs hosted by the state affiliate as well as about our upcoming national convention in July. You won’t want to miss it!



In addition to having Tracy join us for our meeting, we will be having a small technology show-and-tell. This time, there will be a demonstration of Sonar Glasses which helps the vision impaired to identify objects around them. Really cool huh!



Meeting Times and Location:

 We start gathering at the home of Fred and Cathy Schroeder at 6:30 PM on Thursday, May 19. Our program starts promptly at 7:00 PM and we adjourn at 8:30 PM. No time for dinner? For a small donation, you can enjoy fresh pizza while  also enjoying Tracy’s program.
