[Nfbv-announce] Brainstorming May Seminar Ideas at the January 18 Board Meeting

Hello all,

 

At our May 2016 board meeting, we are thinking of having a group seminar
before or after the meeting. One of the agenda items at next week's board
meeting will be brainstorming on possible ideas for the seminar. We are
asking you to think in advance about challenges facing the affiliate and/or
your chapter in the  areas of programming, energizing members, fund raising,
or making our work more meaningful. Some seminar suggestions are having a
legislative workshop, a seminar on how to infuse NFB philosophy into our
chapter programming, how to make fund raising fun, and how to build
leadership succession and development into our chapters. These are only a
few suggestions. We would like plenty more. Please keep your ideas in mind
as we discuss topics for the seminar next week. For those who cannot make
the board meeting next week but have ideas to contribute, please email me by
this Sunday evening, January 17th with your ideas. My email is
