>From Corbb O'Connor:

Good evening, friends.

Mike and C. J. are our closest friends. We live 555 miles apart, yet we all
talk multiple times a week.and sometimes Briley and C. J. talk multiple
times a day!

Many of you generously opened your wallets around the New Year to support
this family as Moriah, who is now 16 months old, battles retinoblastoma.

Along with other employees of the Virginia state government, their insurance
resets in just a few weeks, which means they will soon have to pay toward
their deductible, hand over copays, and pay toward coinsurance all over
again. Plus, a new tumor has cropped up in Moriah's eye and they are having
to do even more invasive procedures.this time in Philadelphia (though they
continue to regularly visit Duke Hospital). These trips mean increased
transportation, lodging, meals, and childcare costs.

To date, you and many others have donated $5,100 to the Fish family. Today,
we've raised the goal by an additional $7,400, which covers their
out-of-pocket medical expenses and anticipated additional, non-medical
costs.

If you would like to contribute, you may do so in two ways.

1. Give online with a credit or debit card at this secure site:

https://www.youcaring.com/moriah/

2. Send a check made payable to Michael Fish at their new address (they
moved last month): 7387 Hill View Drive, Mechanicsville, VA 23111

As always, Mike and C. J. always appreciate your e-mails. You can reach them
at cjfish311 at gmail.com <mailto:cjfish311 at gmail.com>  and mafish09 at gmail.com
<mailto:mafish09 at gmail.com>

Thank you for joining Briley and me in sharing your prayers and your
treasure.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
