Subject: [Nfbnet-members-list] NAGDU mentoring program 2016

The National Association of Guide Dog Users, a strong and proud division of the National Federation of the Blind, will hold a mentoring program at our national convention this year. Those who have experience working dogs at convention will mentor those who are new to the experience. Anyone is welcome to apply, even if they are not a member of NAGDU. All that is required is that you are able to come to the NAGDU meeting on July 2 from 6-10 PM, and that you are able to work at least 1 two hour shift at NAGDU’s exhibit hall table during its hours of operation during the convention. Please find attached to this message two important documents. The first is the mentoring program application. The second is a document containing guidelines for both mentors and mentees. Please review these documents, and, if interested, submit a completed application to the email address, listed below, by June 25, 2016. The email address for any questions or to submit an application is aleeha at nagdu.org. You can also call NAGDU board member, Aleeha Dudley, at the following number: 937-733-0525 with questions.
Thanks for your time, and I look forward to seeing you all at convention!
  Aleeha Dudley
Member, Board of Directors, National Association of Guide Dog Users (NAGDU)
