Hello Cyber-friends,

Our state convention is just a bit over a week away. Now is the time to get your social media house in order so that you can easily and effectively let the world know what we are doing.

Several people have offered to help the NFBV promote our convention through social media. That is great. However, we need more cyber reporters talking us up on social media and here is how.

No matter what form of social media you are going to use (twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc) remember to include our hashtag. For this event, we will be using '#nfbv16'. Putting this string of characters in your posts helps others find you and listen to what you are saying.












Are you a follower of @nfbvirginia on Twitter yet? Before the convention, goto Twitter and follow us. You will literally be receiving the latest updates about all the cool stuff happening.

Do you fancy Facebook? Search for 'NFBVIRGINIA' and friend us. Again, you will receive the latest in convention happenings as well as live streams from our convention reporters.

We need photos as well. Bring your smartphones and click away. Post those to Facebook and Twitter and share the fun. Don't forget to add the hash tag, '#nfbv16' to every post!

Like to write? We always need articles to post to our website (nfbv.org). Share your experiences by sharing them with everyone. Post them to your favorite social media. Or, send them to me to be posted and shared.
