[Nfbv-announce] Hotel Rooms Nearly Sold Out

Our 2016 Convention should be both our best and largest. Our excellent rate
for standard rooms is a thing of the past. We have sold out of all of the
standard rooms in the room block. There are just a few of the more expensive
rooms at a negotiated higher price. If you do not have a room, act now to
secure your room at the Wyndham hotel by calling

Call 1-800-365-3032 to make reservations and ask for the National Federation
of the Blind of Virginia (NFBV) group rate.

Once these rooms are reserved, there are no more rooms at the hotel. I doubt
these few remaining rooms will be available after tonight but they will not
be available after Tuesday, October 18.

 

One of our NFB of Virginia Leadership Fellows, Chris Walker, has agreed to
try to help people with rooms.

If you are unable to make a reservation because there are no rooms left,

Chris will try to help but we are honestly out of rooms. Certainly, there
are other hotels in the area such as the Howard Johnsons (about 6 blocks
