Hi Virginia Federationists:



We are planning an exciting May 6 NFB of Virginia Board of Directors
meeting.



Date:                     Saturday, May 6, 2017

Time:                     11:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Location:              Library & resource Center, Virginia Department for
the Blind and Vision Impaired, 395 Azalea Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23227



Key topics for this meeting will include:

   - 2017 National Convention
   - Changes to the NFB of Virginia Scholarship program
   - Youth programming including 2 2017 BELL programs
   - Some initial Planning for the 2017 State Convention
   - Tapping NFB National resources such as our magazine, blogs, podcasts
   and other resources



If you have items for the agenda, please reach out to me as soon as
possible.



Lunch – At this board meeting, the Virginia Association of Blind students
will be ordering pizza from a

local pizza restaurant. If you would like to partake in the pizza, Pizza
will cost $5 to be paid in cash at the meeting. Orders will be taken in
advance by Robert Parson at rob.parso3389 at gmail.com  but orders will be
accepted at the door.

Please bring cash to pay for food and beverages or bring your own.



All are welcome to attend the Board meeting. Our meeting will be better
because you invested the time to attend and share your ideas.
